Job summary

Fortrea in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a Research Technician for a full-time, office-based role with rotating shifts. You will work with healthy volunteers, perform venipuncture and vital signs, and assist with ECG collection and sample processing according to protocols.

This position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical research setting. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience; EMT/CNA/CMA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience required and ability to read clinical protocols.
• 1 year of related experience in a clinical or research setting.
• EMT, CMA or CNA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with healthy volunteer participants and perform blood pressure, venipuncture, weight, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings.
• Prepare and record ECGs/Holters; collect and process biological samples per protocol.
• Monitor dietary compliance, assist with room and equipment prep, and support screening procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe study environment and assist with other duties as assigned.
