Job summary

Medix is seeking a Site Operations Coordinator to manage and proactively assess staffing needs across clinical trials in Chico, California. The role includes recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training to ensure study timelines are met.

You will mentor clinical trial coordinators, research assistants, and cross-functional teams to enhance study process compliance, oversee lifecycles from startup to closeout, review monitor reports, deliverables, and audit readiness, and optimize site workflows

Responsibilities

• Manage and proactively assess staffing needs, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to clinical trial coordinators, research assistants, and cross-functional teams to enhance study process compliance.
• Foster a high-morale team culture aligned with organizational values, encouraging collaboration and operational excellence.
• Step in as a backup coordinator or research assistant when necessary to support the team and maintain continuity of care.
• Oversee study lifecycles from startup to closeout, including timely review of monitor reports, deliverables, and audit readiness.
• Manage site workflows to optimize the experience for patients, staff, and study sponsors.
• Collaborate with QA and Regulatory Managers to complete pre-activation tasks and achieve site readiness.
