Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking a CRC Nurse to support a range of clinical research studies in the Clinical Research Center (CRC). The role involves direct patient care, nursing assessments, administering study medications, and safeguarding participant safety during visits.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, collect and manage data, and ensure compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines while providing compassionate, confidential care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; RN licensure preferred.
• 2–5 years of related nursing/clinical research coordination experience.
• Strong phlebotomy and venous access skills; familiarity with ICH-GCP.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, nursing assessments, protocol procedures, and monitoring for safety.
• Collects, records, and manages clinical data; supports data integrity for audits.
• Collaborates with physicians, coordinators, and lab staff to support study progress.
• Educates participants and families about procedures and timelines.
• Adheres to ICH-GCP standards and patient-centered care principles.
