Job summary

The Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator at Holy Cross Health leads and coordinates research programs in the Clinical Research Program, providing nursing leadership in accordance with protocol requirements and sponsor guidelines.

Onsite in Silver Spring, MD with occasional travel to Germantown and local medical practices, the role requires an RN license in Maryland or a compact state, with BSN/MSN strongly preferred and Clinical Research Certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland State Board of Nursing license as Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; BSN or MSN strongly preferred.
• Clinical Research Certification preferred.
• GCP Certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Active Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and coordinate research programs and studies for the Clinical Research Program and physician Principal Investigators.
• Provide nursing leadership in accordance with protocol requirements, physicians’ orders, and applicable medical center policies and procedures.
• Ensure hospital compliance with required terms and conditions for final and ongoing approval to participate in the study.
• Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
• Coordinate the activities of a multidisciplinary research team including physicians and maintain patient confidentiality.
