Apex Research Group in Reno, Nevada is seeking a Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills to join our clinical research team. You will perform venipuncture, patient care, vital signs, and assist with study visits in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include Medical Assistant certification or equivalent, proficiency in venipuncture, and good communication. Prior clinical research is preferred but training is available for the right candidate who is reliable and patient-focused.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent training.
• Strong phlebotomy proficiency and venipuncture skills.
• Experience in a medical/clinical setting with patient care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection with attention to safety and comfort.
• Obtain and document vital signs, patient history, and medication information.
• Assist physicians and research staff with visits and study procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment; ensure proper specimen handling and labeling.
• Maintain documentation and support Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and HIPAA compliance.
