Qualifications

• Valid MA license from the State of Texas.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; advanced education preferred.
• Two years of recent clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or similar health care setting.
• One year clinical research experience (Preferred).
• Phlebotomy experience (REQUIRED).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel, electronic health systems and databases used in research environment, or willingness to learn within three months of hire.
• Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy, lab processing, shipping.
• Providing nursing care to research study patients per protocol.
• Administering study medications and assessing for side effects.
• Performing vital signs, ECGs, and venipuncture.
• Documenting medical data in subject charts for timely records.
• Identifying and prioritizing systems to maintain research quality with no supervision.
• Aligning with Good Clinical Practice guidelines and FDA requirements.
• Other duties as needed.
