Job summary

National Institute of Clinical Research is seeking a Medical Assistant with phlebotomy experience to support clinical trials. You will assist the Research Study Coordinator with subject recruitment, scheduling visits, and coordinating activities for enrolled participants.

You will perform EKGs, phlebotomy, vital signs, and other lab assessments, and help obtain lab results and medical records. Proficiency with PC software and willingness to learn new programs are required.

Qualifications

• Medical assistant/Phlebotomist with 2–3 years of clinical experience (certification preferred) or a laboratory technician with 2–3 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule research visits and coordinate study visits for enrolled subjects.
• Perform EKGs, routine phlebotomy, vital signs and other lab assessments.
• Obtain and review lab results; assist in reviewing medical records.
• Assist study coordinator and learn new software applications as needed.
