Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Laboratory Assistant in Orlando, FL for a full-time, contract-to-hire role. You will support the Lab Supervisor and CRCs with specimen collection, phlebotomy, and kit preparation in a 24/7 clinical research facility.

The position starts as temporary with potential to convert to permanent, onsite at the facility. The role requires phlebotomy experience (22/23 gauge), proficiency in Word/Excel, and strong attention to detail for source documents and CRFs.

Qualifications

• Training or experience in clinical research GCP requirements and medical documentation.
• Clinical skills with 1 year of blood draws using 22/23 gauge needles.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience as a medical assistant or phlebotomist.
• Strong interpersonal skills and detail-oriented document review.

Responsibilities

• Assist CRC and Investigator with clinical study activities.
• Perform QC on source documents and CRFs for trials.
• Handle inventory and shipping of specimens.
• Conduct phlebotomy on trial volunteers.
• Create kits for upcoming studies.
