Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; valid Driver’s License required.
• Certification as Laboratory Technician, Phlebotomist, or Medical Assistant per state/local requirements.
• 1 year minimum experience in medical, clinic, or laboratory setting; oncology experience preferred.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process human biological specimens for clinical trials.
• May perform phlebotomy and related testing following established protocols.
• Assist investigators during dissections or surgeries as needed.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and proper labeling of samples.
• Log samples into data management systems and track storage/shipment.
• Ensure accurate records and patient confidentiality; monitor lab temperatures.
• Travel to satellite clinics/biopsy facilities as needed with reimbursed mileage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient operations.
