Job summary

Tennessee Oncology, a leading community-based cancer care network, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to support its laboratory operations in the Nashville area. You will collect, test, and report patient specimens while upholding CLIA, OSHA and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Tennessee license as MLT/Technologist preferred but not required.
• Hematology experience is preferred.
• 2+ years of laboratory experience in a clinical setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect, test, and report patient specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintain safety and proper handling of blood, body fluids, and chemicals.
• Record lab testing results and ensure quality control.
• Follow CLIA, OSHA and accreditation requirements as applicable.
• Coordinate with medical staff on orders and results as needed.
