Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. (MCW) seeks a detail‑oriented team member to support the CCCTO in preparing, processing, and shipping labs, biopsies, and archived tissue samples. This role also manages inventory, databases, and filing systems while performing data entry for clinical studies.

Responsibilities include processing specimens, data entry into research forms and OnCore, and coordinating with study teams. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of lab safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in clinical or lab data management.
• CITI training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver blood collection tubes to clinical locations and collect as needed.
• Process and ship labs to institutions per sponsor specifications.
• Request archived tissue samples from pathology and ship as required.
• Enter data into study lab specimen databases and OnCore.
• Organize lab and file room; manage supply orders and destruction.
• Assist with Lab Competency Trainings and preventive maintenance coordination.
