Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Clinical Trial Financial Specialist to support the financial and administrative management of clinical research studies.

You will handle payment processing, data management, budgeting, and reporting across multiple systems, reporting to the Associate Director, CRF. You will ensure accurate financial records, sponsor compliance, and timely responses to inquiries, collaborating with OCCT and other teams to enable study startup

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or three+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in clinical research budgeting, and financial operations preferred.
• Ability to interpret cost language and budgets; communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage Financial Management payments inbox and reconciliation.
• Support data entry, records maintenance, and financial tracking across systems.
• Prepare and report budgets, funding proposals, and contracts.
• Validate data accuracy and maintain documentation for budgets and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Research Operations and other stakeholders to start up studies.
