Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the clinical research office’s budgeting, contracts, and fiscal tracking. The role collaborates with principal investigators, subsites, and the McConnell NEXT Consortium to ensure compliant and efficient financial operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Business/Accounting/Finance, 1 year of clinical research finance experience, and strong communication and confidentiality skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• One year of experience in clinical research, financial analyses, and project management.
• CPA licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the implementation of short- and long-term strategy initiatives for financial contracts, effective research budgets, expenditures, and fiscal tracking.
• Develops and distributes accurate and timely information to analyze current fiscal operations and budget management.
• Generates and monitors reports related to project enrollments, grant or fiscal management goals, and clinical trial enrollment.
• Provides feedback to the clinical research office, principal investigators, subsites, and the McConnell NEXT Consortium as needed.
• Guides and supports the McConnell NEXT Consortium to initiate research projects, develop budgets and expense reporting, and implement new sub sites as collaborators.
• Identifies trends and presents recommendations about financial data.
