University of Southern California (USC) Keck Medicine’s Institute of Urology is seeking a Clinical Research Data Specialist I to join the Clinical Research Database Unit on-site at the USC Health Science Campus in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves identifying eligible patients, screening eligibility, obtaining informed consent, and collecting data into study databases.

Collaborate with physicians and research staff while maintaining strict HIPAA/IRB compliance and data quality.

Qualificações

• 1 year of clinical trial experience.
• Must have a strong attention to detail to ensure adherence to study SOPs and compliance with regulatory standards (ICH, GCP, HIPAA, etc)

Responsabilidades

• Identify eligible patients for research studies.
• Screen patients for study eligibility using medical records and research protocols.
• Obtain informed consent from research participants.
• Collect and enter clinical research data into study databases.
• Review electronic medical records to ensure accurate and complete data collection.
• Maintain research databases and update patient information as needed.
• Perform routine data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with patient follow-up and outcomes data collection.
• Prepare research records and study documentation in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with biospecimen collection and documentation, when applicable.
• Work closely with physicians, research staff, and other team members to support ongoing research projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, IRB, and institutional research policies.
