Job summary

University of Michigan is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator Assistant to independently support simple and moderately complex clinical studies. You will join a coordination team and manage duties aligned with the CRC-Assistant ladder, ensuring adherence to GCP and safety standards.

The role requires an associate degree in Health Science or equivalent, with at least 1 year of clinical research experience; a higher degree or 3+ years of human subject experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Health Science or equivalent is necessary.
• Minimum 1 year of directly related experience in clinical research and clinical trials is necessary.
• Advanced degree in health-related areas or minimum 3 years of human subject experience is acceptable.
• High School Diploma or GED is necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Science or related field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide study coordination for simple and moderately complex clinical research studies.
• Support a portfolio of projects with varying levels of complexity as part of a coordination team.
• Demonstrate mastery of the CRC-Assistant duties per the Michigan Medicine CRC Career Ladder.
• Ensure ethical participant safety considerations and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee data management and informatics as part of study operations.
• Contribute to study and site management and team leadership.
• Communicate effectively with staff and faculty of all levels.
