Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to manage multiple trials from start-up to close-out in compliance with protocol, GCP, and Velocity SOPs. The role emphasizes data accuracy, patient safety, and timely regulatory/documentation tasks.

You will coordinate recruitment, site activities, vendor management, and communication with sponsors and CROs, while upholding high-quality data and patient care standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years life science experience OR
• Associate's degree with 4 years life science experience OR
• High school/technical with 6 years life science experience plus 1 year CRC experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage clinical trials in accordance with the study protocol, GCP, ICH Guidelines and Velocity's SOPs
• Implement and coordinate assigned trials including start up, vendor management, recruitment, visits, and data collection with timely entry and query resolution
• Apply project management concepts to manage risk and improve quality
• Develop, coordinate, and implement research and administrative strategies for assigned protocols
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, leadership, subjects, sponsors, CROs, and vendors
• Apply good documentation practices when collecting data and transferring to sponsor data capture systems
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and sponsor information
• Verify patient safety concerns and report adverse events as required
• Ensure data entry into sponsor portals and timely query resolution
• Ensure staff are trained and documented
• Submit regulatory documents to Sponsors and IRBs as required
• Evaluate subjects for participation including prescreens
• Create and execute recruitment strategies
• Understand timelines, endpoints, vendors, and patient populations for protocols
• Understand disease processes and protocol design significance
• Collaborate on Quality Control for monitor readiness
• Perform clinical duties (drug prep, phlebotomy, ECG, lab processing)
• Other duties as assigned
