Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research, Inc. in Washington, DC seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator I to conduct and manage clinical trials in line with protocol, GCP, and Velocity SOPs.

You will coordinate startup activities, recruitment, visits, and data entry, ensuring timely regulatory submissions and safety reporting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination, along with strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant life science experience or an associate’s with 2 years; or a high school graduate with 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage clinical trials in accordance with the study protocol, GCP, ICH Guidelines and Velocity SOPs.
• Coordinate start-up, vendor management, subject recruitment, visits and data collection with supervision.
• Ensure regulatory documents are collected and AE/SAE reporting is completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and sponsor data; communicate with sponsors, CROs, and vendors.
• Perform clinical duties (e.g., phlebotomy, sample handling) within scope and safety guidelines.
