Job summary

University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center seeks a clinical research coordinator to support patient/participant coordination and data management across multiple studies. The role focuses on collecting quality data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting study procedures under investigator supervision.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a medical or science field and at least 1 year of clinical research experience; some certifications (BLS, CPR AED) may be required

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical research experience
• CPR or CPR AED certification may be required depending on study protocols
• ACRP or SOCRA certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Directly interacts with clinical research participants via telephone, telehealth or in-person.
• Coordinate regulatory aspects of the trial to comply with industry standards, University policies, FDA requirements or other hospital policies.
• Coordinate and schedule study procedures per protocol; PI oversight may apply for non-licensed coordinators.
• Assist with developing and implementing research studies and writing clinical research protocols.
• Monitor patient safety by reviewing records and ensuring reporting per protocol and HRPP standards.
