Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented Research Coordinator to assist in coordinating patient participation and data collection for clinical studies in a supportive academic setting.

You will handle regulatory documentation, IRB submissions, and scheduling, while ensuring protocol compliance and patient safety under supervision. A Bachelor's degree in a medical or science field and 2 years of experience are required, with CPR/BLS and professional certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a medical or science related field and 2 years of clinical research experience.
• Experience coordinating regulatory documentation, IRB submissions, and study startup activities.
• Preferred certifications include BLS/CPR and ACRP or SOCRA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient/participant interactions via multiple modalities (in person, telehealth, phone).
• Manage regulatory documentation to comply with FDA, IRB and University policies.
• Schedule procedures and assist with protocol adherence and data collection.
• Support study budgeting and fiscal management as needed.
• Develop and maintain data collection tools and CRFs for trials.
• Prepare and submit IRB amendments and continuing reviews.
• Monitor subject safety and ensure proper reporting per protocol.
