Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to coordinate participant recruitment, screening, consent, follow-up and study visits within a multidisciplinary research program.

The role includes performing clinical procedures (vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy) and managing CRFs, EDC systems, EPIC, and study records, while ensuring adherence to SOPs, GCP, IRB requirements and safety reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in medical or science related field is required.
• 1 year of clinical research experience is required.
• Experience or advanced degree may be considered in lieu of education or experience.
• Preferred: BLS CPR AED certification; ACRP or SOCRA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate participant recruitment, screening, consent, follow-up and study visits.
• Perform clinical procedures such as vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen processing/shipping.
• Manage CRFs, EDC systems, EPIC documentation, and study records.
• Ensure compliance with protocols, SOPs, GCP, IRB and safety reporting.
• Develop and maintain regulatory information to comply with industry and university policies.
• Assist in developing research protocols and budgeting as needed.
