Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator I to coordinate day-to-day activities for infectious disease research protocols. You will work under supervision, coordinating investigator-initiated and industry studies, enroll subjects, manage CRFs, and collaborate with labs, clinicians and sponsors to ensure compliant study conduct.

The role requires at least one year in a clinical research setting, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a clinical research or cancer registry environment with regulatory or human research protections.
• Ability to apply judgement in interpreting regulations, determining impacts and knowing when to escalate questions.
• Preferred oncology research experience and clinical data collection.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement complex clinical research studies with independence under protocol guidance.
• Coordinate research activities, enrollment, CRFs, and study visits per timelines.
• Serve as protocol resource for investigators, staff and sponsors; develop SOPs as needed.
• Train staff and ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice and regulatory requirements.
• Travel for enrollment and meetings; provide weekend/holiday coverage as required.

ACRP/SOCRA certification (preferred)
