The Clinical Research Coordinator will coordinate and perform daily clinical research activities according to approved protocols in the Department of Family Medicine. Responsibilities include assessing patient records for eligibility, recruiting and enrolling patients, obtaining informed consent, educating patients and families, coordinating scheduling, collecting and analyzing biological samples, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role also involves data management, report generation, and participation in protocol development.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences, social sciences, or related medical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience Required: One year of experience in a clinical research capacity.
Preferred Skills and Experience: Knowledge of Family Medicine and chronic diseases, medical terminology, clinical research certification, and computer skills with Microsoft applications.
Requires successful background check; pre-employment physical and drug screen may be required.
