Job summary

Accel Research Sites in Decatur, GA is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee the execution of assigned studies in compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA regulations and SOPs. The CRC will collaborate with the site team to screen and enroll subjects, obtain consents, conduct follow-up visits, and document findings in source records and EDC systems.

The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of clinical research or clinical experience; bilingual

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma, LPN/LVN, EMT credential OR Associate’s degree with 1 year clinical research or clinical experience
• Proficiency with basic clinical procedures (BP, vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy) preferred
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Screening patients for study enrollment
• Obtaining patient consents
• Conducting patient follow-up visits
• Documenting in source charts
• Entering data in EDC and responding to queries
• Obtaining vital signs and ECGs
• May perform basic lab procedures per protocol (blood collection, centrifuge, storage/shipping)
• Requesting and tracking medical records
• Maintaining study logs and files
• Scheduling visits and sending appointment reminders
• Conducting monitoring visits and resolving issues
• Reviewing study reports and results with investigators
• Reporting adverse events and non-compliance
• Maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA
• Assisting with recruitment and enrollment as needed
• Carrying out start-up activities and site initiation visits
• Setting up study technology as needed
