Job summary

University of Michigan is seeking a Research Coordinator for the Lifestyle, Exercise, and Arteries Laboratory within the School of Kinesiology. The role focuses on start-up, implementation, conduct, and close-out activities for clinical studies, ensuring compliance with GCP and institutional policies.

You will work with the PI, clinical partners, and team members to ensure high-quality execution, including regulatory tasks, participant scheduling, data collection, and training of undergraduates.

Qualifications

• BS in Exercise Science or health-related field required.
• At least 1 year related research coordination, lab/clinic, or administrative experience in a research, health care, or education setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• High level of organization and motivation.
• High level of knowledge regarding exercise.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory document review and adherence to protocols.
• Learn and perform data collection techniques and supervise lab activities.
• Recruit, screen, schedule, and communicate with research study participants.
• Schedule lab staff and exercise sessions for ongoing studies.
• Train undergraduate lab members and coordinate payment to participants.
