Job summary

The Clinical Research Coordinator B at University of Pennsylvania will support day-to-day research and administrative activities for MEHP projects. This grant-funded role is full-time with a variable hybrid schedule requiring 2–5 days in person per week, depending on project needs.

Primary focus is a grant-funded project in the Medical Ethics Division addressing roadblocks to translating novel therapeutics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and 2–3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules and IRB procedures preferred.
• Ability to work across disciplines—medicine, law, and medical ethics—across departments and institutions.

Responsibilities

• Recruit participants and manage ongoing communication and payments where appropriate.
• Collect and manage ethnographic data, and develop interview guides for diverse participants.
• Conduct ethnographic observations and qualitative interviews; synthesize data and support manuscript development.
