Job summary

University of Pennsylvania seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee Phase I–IV clinical trials. You will coordinate initiation, monitoring and closeout visits, manage regulatory documentation, and ensure adherence to IRB, sponsor and FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities include CRF development, data integrity, and collaboration with sponsors, CROs and investigators. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science with 4–6 years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating day-to-day activities of multiple therapeutic protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and multi-task; works well in a team or independently.
• Knowledge of Title 21 CFR, ICH, and GCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the conduct of Phase I – IV clinical trials.
• Participate in audits by sponsors, CROs, the FDA, and others as required.
• Activate participation in development of protocol case report forms and progress notes.
• Conduct initiation, monitoring and closeout visits with sponsors/CROs.
• Organize and maintain documentation required by sponsor or CRO.
• Resolve data queries with sponsor and CROs.
• Recruit, screen and enroll patients per protocol.
• Process and ship specimens for each trial.
• Schedule patient visits and testing as needed.
• Attend Investigator Initiation meetings.
• Obtain slides from pathology and ship to sponsor for review.
• Obtain records for CRFs and regulatory binders.
• Ensure patient safety, protocol compliance and data quality.
