Job description

Overview

The Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation (PC3I) is seeking a fulltime Clinical Research Coordinator B to implement day to day operations for innovative research projects and strategic initiatives. Founded at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, PC3I is embedded at the nexus of research and practice. Our mission is to create, test, and scale solutions to improve how we care for patients with cancer.

Responsibilities
  • Develop project documentation, including portions of project plans, study protocols, standard operating procedures, and IRB and other regulatory documents.
  • Execute research project activities by initiating study procedures; conduct and oversee recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up procedures for study participants; coordinate primary data collection and preparation.
  • Draft reports, memos, abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, and proposals.
  • Coordinate meetings and track project tasks and deliverables; implement other PC3I activities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of research experience in a clinical or academic setting or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; demonstrated ability to problem solve and identify and utilize available resources; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and coordinate project inputs and stakeholders; strong interpersonal skills, judgment, and diplomacy to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Preferred qualifications include knowledge of EndNote/Zotero, REDCap, Box/Smartsheet, WordPress, and design tools (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop).
