Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Research Services Professional (Pre/Post Award) in the Neurology department to manage the clinical research budget and finance processes. You will support NeuroCRAFT budgeting, contract invoicing, and post-award reconciliations on a hybrid campus schedule.

Entry to senior level candidates with a related bachelor's degree and either budget/finance or clinical research experience are encouraged to apply; strong Excel, negotiation, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, business, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, healthcare, or related field.
• Open to Entry, Intermediate, or Senior level with corresponding experience in clinical research or budget/finance.
• Experience with budget development, negotiation, and contract invoicing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on full-cycle budget development, negotiation, and evaluation of industry-sponsored budgets.
• Assist with protocol complexity assessment, pricing, and labor requirements in budgets.
• Create internal budgets for NeuroCRAFT and input contract terms for tracking and reconciliation.
• Negotiate budgets with sponsors; review Medicare coverage analyses and external costs.
• Prepare and finalize contracts/amendments; ensure terms are incorporated and executed.
• Review post-award reconciliation and monitor budget vs. actual costs.
• Generate sponsor invoices and follow up on payments; ensure accuracy.
• Contribute to post-award financial reconciliation and related tasks.
