Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience required.
• CCRC and/or CCRP certification required within one year of hire.

Aufgaben

• Lead the clinical research budgeting and billing program, providing oversight, education, and support across UVA.
• Maintain expertise in CMS, FDA requirements, Medicare rules, Federal Anti-Kickback laws, HIPAA, and institutional policies.
• Perform and oversee coverage analyses to determine appropriate billing of protocol services to sponsors and payers.
• Develop and negotiate clinical trial budgets for industry trials, grants, and consortium studies.
• Serve as a primary contact for pharma, biotech, and CROs in partnership with CTU leadership.
• Manage staff responsible for research billing and ensure charges follow coverage analyses and regulations.
• Oversee OnCore calendar and financial console builds to support study management and cost recovery.
• Manage sponsor invoicing processes and provide budgeting and invoicing backup for study portfolios.
