Responsibilities

Clinical Reimbursement Specialist (CRS) – RN

Collaborates with the DON, CRM (where applicable), and various disciplines to assist in the completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS), Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), and all associated processes. Ensures completion of assessments within mandated timeframes, manages resident assessment processes, and tracks Medicare/Managed Care/Medicaid case documents to ensure appropriate reimbursement. Assists with resident care planning under the direction of the DON or CRM. Performs other duties as assigned.

Note: This is a part-time position.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a School for Registered Nursing is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an MDS/Clinical Reimbursement Nurse role is preferred.
• Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state; CPR and AED certifications required.
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it. Food handlers certification if required.
