Responsibilities

Clinical Reimbursement Specialist (CRS) – RN

Collaborates with the DON, CRM (where applicable), and various disciplines to assist in completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS), Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), and all associated processes. Ensures completion of assessments within mandated timeframes. Manages resident assessment process and tracks Medicare/Managed Care/Medicaid documents to ensure appropriate reimbursement. Assists with resident care planning under the direction of the DON or CRM. Performs other duties as assigned.

Note: This is a PART-TIME POSITION.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from a School for Registered Nursing is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an MDS/Clinical Reimbursement Nurse role preferred.
• Current State RN licensure, CPR, and AED certifications required.
• First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain it. Food handlers certification as needed.
