Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Clinical Rehab Liaison to cultivate referrals, manage a geographic territory, and assess patients. This role requires active clinical licensure and CPR certification, leveraging relationships with physicians, nurses, discharge planners, and payer representatives to drive growth and high-quality patient flow.

You will build relationships, streamline the referral-to-admission process, and educate community partners about our inpatient rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license in state where employed with acceptable driving record.
• Current state professional clinical licensure and CPR certification.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare tech experience.
• One or more years in nurse liaison or healthcare sales.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop census based on strategic goals.
• Cultivate relationships within an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on our hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Responds to and overcomes admission barriers and follows-up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations to various groups about our services and outcomes.
