Parkland Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian - Clinical Practice to provide nutritional education and patient care in the main hospital building. You will screen, assess, and develop individualized nutrition plans for diverse patient populations and collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities include counseling patients, documenting progress, leading education sessions, and supporting nutrition care teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition.
• One year of related dietetic experience in an acute care setting via ADA program or ADA-accredited internship.
• Registered dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; Texas licensure or obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Screen patients for nutritional risk and assess status.
• Develop individualized care plans and calculate calorie/protein needs.
• Educate and counsel patients in nutritional therapy.
• Document data and follow-up care; participate in interdisciplinary teams.
