Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Performance Improvement Specialist to lead robust process improvement initiatives at the local hospital level. You will facilitate quality, patient safety, and infection prevention projects, partnering with process owners, leaders and physicians to drive measurable improvements and share best practices for system-wide learning.

Ideal candidates bring clinical background (MD/BSN or equivalent), completion of or willingness to complete a formal process

Qualifications

• Education: MD, BSN or other 4-year clinical degree required.
• Process improvement certification required or completed within 12 months of employment.
• Experience with clinical quality measures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in comprehensive data collection for clinical quality measures.
• Identify opportunities for improvement using evidence-based practices and data analysis.
• Coordinate local robust process improvement projects and share best practices.
• Educate staff and physicians on evidence-based care and improvement techniques.
• Validate inter-rater reliability in data abstraction and reporting.
