Job summary

IQVIA, a leading global provider of clinical research services, seeks an experienced Project Lead in Durham, NC to drive delivery of clinical studies, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with SOPs and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities include leading smaller regional studies, developing study management plans, managing risk and budget, and maintaining client relationships while optimizing speed, quality and cost of delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life sciences or related field required.
• 5 years of prior relevant experience including >1 years project management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of related areas.
• Knowledge of clinical trials conduct and regulatory requirements (ICH GCP).
• Strong written and verbal communication, including English.
• Problem solving, leadership, organization and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid defense presentations with Business Development and may lead presentations for smaller regional studies.
• Delivery and management of smaller, less complex regional studies.
• Develop integrated study management plans with the core project team.
• Execute clinical studies per contract while optimizing speed, quality and cost.
• Set objectives for the core project team and assess performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to support milestones.
• Monitor progress and present project information to stakeholders.
• Manage risks and lead problem solving and corrective actions.
• Maintain primary or backup project contact with customers and vendors.
