Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Clinical Program Manager I to supervise all program efforts, design plans within contract and budget guidelines, and coordinate with community partners. You will direct crisis intervention, case management, housing support, and life skills counseling for participants with co-occurring disorders.

The role emphasizes overseeing resources, driving grant objectives, and ensuring program compliance while serving a vulnerable population in a field setting.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint clearance and background check completed.
• Current TB screening and immunization records within 5 days of hire.
• Copy of current professional license if applicable.
• Current BLS certification within 15 days of hire.
• Valid Real ID or US passport.
• Completion of all required trainings within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to perform under emotional stress and with challenging clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake, assessments, service planning, and goal attainment.
• Train and supervise staff; act as resource for difficult cases.
• Ensure grant objectives and adhere to grant guidelines.
• Provide progress updates to Division Director.
• Monitor program compliance; document all services delivered to participants.
• Measure impact and contribute to program success.
• Coordinate outreach with community partners.
• Communicate project expectations to team members.
