Job summary

Develop Health is building AI-driven processes to speed access to life-saving medications. The Clinical Product & Operations Lead Pharmacist will own complex PA and BV cases and shape the operational workflows as we scale.

This on-site role in Menlo Park partners with product and engineering to ensure clinical accuracy and customer value. You will document workflows, create SOPs, and drive improvements across customer support, product, and operations while maintaining a high standard of patient

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist (PharmD) with hands-on prior authorization and benefit verification experience.
• 3-5+ years in pharmacy operations, specialty pharmacy, or a payer/PBM environment.
• Strong working knowledge of PA workflows, payer criteria, formularies, and PBM structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customer-facing experience.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations in a startup.
• Availability to work on-site in Menlo Park at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own customer support for moderate-to-complex PA and BV cases with clear context and resolution path.
• Apply clinical judgment to navigate payer criteria and formulary requirements.
• Build the support foundations: document workflows, playbooks and SOPs.
• Be the voice of the customer with product and engineering to surface patterns and improvements.
• Work with engineering to improve AI agents on real casework and quality.
• Manage customer communications across email, calls, and Slack with clarity.
