Job summary

Develop Health is seeking a Staff Product Engineer to turn complex healthcare problems into simple, reliable products. This hands-on role has ownership from understanding user needs through launch and production.

You'll collaborate with Product, AI, and Operations to build interfaces, services, integrations, and AI-powered workflows that move patients from prescription to treatment, while raising the engineering bar with AI-native tools and practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering with 5+ years of software experience across backend, data, and UI.
• Architectural judgment to define system boundaries and balance delivery speed and reliability.
• Strong product sense and ability to work with users to define success.
• Experience using AI-native execution and coding agents to boost productivity.
• Technical leadership with proven track record of guiding complex projects hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex product initiatives from discovery to launch and define milestones.
• Ship across backend services, user interfaces, data models, and integrations.
• Make architectural decisions and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Build testing, observability, and safe rollouts with AI fallbacks into the product.
• Mentor engineers and implement AI-native tools to remove blockers.
