Job summary

Develop Health in Edison, NJ is seeking a Strategic Business Operations Lead to ensure new strategic accounts run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll manage benefit verification and prior authorization cases, identify bottlenecks, and transform fixes into documented processes.

You’ll also help manage BPO partners, keep the queue moving, and build leadership dashboards. Reporting to the Head of Pharmacy Operations, you’ll influence how we scale and improve operations with clear playbooks, training,

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in operations, ideally in healthcare, health tech, or SaaS.
• Ability to define and improve workflows and standard operating procedures.
• Strong analytical skills with dashboard creation experience.
• Comfort building playbooks and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Run complex benefit verification and prior authorization cases.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and process gaps.
• Document workflows as repeatable processes.
• Provide product and engineering with concrete customer pain points for prioritization and automation.
• Develop training materials to reduce escalations.
• Manage BPO partnerships and onboarding.
• Plan capacity and forecast volume across time zones.
• Build and own operational metrics, SLA dashboards, and performance analytics.
• Keep the queue healthy and ensure SLAs as we scale.
• Turn frontline patterns into product and process changes to lower support volume.
