Job summary

UPMC seeks a Clinical Product Analyst, Intermediate to help shape HealthPlaNET and related applications. You will analyze business needs, define requirements, and configure systems to support care management and population health initiatives for internal and external clients.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IS/health plan teams, documentation, and quality-oriented development while ensuring data integrity and timely delivery in a hy‑ brid onsite setting in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• EPIC experience is highly preferred.
• Three to six years of experience in health insurance or clinical health care.
• Experience assisting with product development and writing software requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise / new clinical software product business systems requirements definition and analysis.
• With limited direction, elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
• Participate in the design and documentation of system functional requirements for RFPs, information requests, or custom development.
• Assume project management responsibility during clinical program redesign for existing programs.
• Assist in evaluating client needs and documenting business processes for optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business requirements, functional requirements, and workflows.
