Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson is seeking a Clinical Procedure Supply Coordinator to manage ordering, inventory and supply activities for the Clinical Procedure area, ensuring timely acquisition of materials and services in accordance with policies. The role requires strong inventory experience or OR experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm at Banner University Tucson.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in business or procurement.
• Two years of experience in a Healthcare Clinical area or materials management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, knowledge of surgical supplies.
• Proficient with common office software and quick learning ability.

Responsibilities

• Conducts procurement, receipt, distribution, stocking and inventory management for the Clinical Procedure area.
• Receives requests for special order supplies and procures them for the correct patient and procedure.
• Maintains inventory levels, tracks shelf life and rotates stock to prevent expiration.
• Orders specialty items for upcoming schedules and coordinates delivery needs.
• Assists with vendor quotes, product evaluations and contract compliance.
• Uses MMIS system to order, track, and report usage and costs.
