Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Clinical Procedure Supply Coordinator to manage inventory and procurement for the Clinical Procedure area, coordinating with physicians to ensure timely acquisition of materials and services. You will maintain inventory levels, use MMIS and standard office software, and support cost containment and vendor negotiations.

Qualifications

• Requires an associates in business or procurement, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in Healthcare Clinical area (Surgery, Cathlab, IR Lab, Endoscopy) or materials management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with commonly used office software and able to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct procurement, receipt, distribution, stocking and inventory management for the Clinical Procedure area.
• Receive requests for special order supplies and coordinate with Clinical department and vendors.
• Regularly take inventory, monitor usage and shelf life, rotate stock to avoid expiration.
• Assess upcoming schedules for procedures and future supply needs; order specialty items and coordinate delivery.
• Promote cost containment and assist with vendor quotes, product evaluations and standardization.
