Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in business or procurement, or equivalent experience and training.
• 2 years of experience in a healthcare clinical area or materials management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; knowledge of surgical supplies.
• Proficient with office software; ability to learn new software quickly.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required at hire.
• Arizona Criminal History Affidavit to be signed at hire.

Responsibilities

• Procures, inventories, and distributes medical supplies for the Clinical Procedure area.
• Coordinates with Clinical departments to arrange special delivery needs and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintains inventory levels and tracks consignment items; uses MMIS for ordering and reporting.
• Monitors upcoming schedules and sources future supply needs; assists after hours as needed.
• Promotes cost containment and standardization; obtains quotes and participates in product evaluations.
