Job summary

OhioHealth in Dublin, CA is seeking an Administrative/Clinical Support team member for the Maternal Fetal Medicine department. The role provides administrative and basic clinical support to physician practices to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services. Training will be provided for clinical experience before placement into ambulatory care sites.

Day shift, 40 hours per week. This position is not a full Medical Assistant but may perform basic rooming and vitals as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Attends training to gain clinical experience before placement into ambulatory care site.

Responsibilities

• Complete clinical competencies for the practice site enabling efficient patient flow (rooming, medication refills, basic patient care).
• Complete Care Connect EMR documentation skills.
• Perform administrative duties ensuring information is current and updated.
• Provide rooming and vitals collection; perform EKGs as necessary.
• Document telephone encounters and communicate with the health care team to ensure continuity of care.
