Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health is seeking a Clinical Practice Specialist over Standards to lead onboarding, field training, and competency verification for EMS clinicians. This role owns the Field Training Officer program, new-hire orientation, and ongoing credentialing, ensuring safe release to practice and alignment with protocols.

The position requires Paramedic licensure, 3+ years of EMS field experience, and FTO/evaluator experience, with strong documentation and EHR skills.

Qualifications

• Current Paramedic license (NREMT and state) in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of full-time Paramedic EMS experience.
• Experience as Field Training Officer, preceptor, or clinical evaluator.
• Ability to objectively assess clinical competency and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong knowledge of EMS protocols, psychomotor skills, and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency with ePCR/EHR systems and standard office software.
• Texas residency.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and manage onboarding and FTO program with evaluation criteria.
• Conduct and document initial and ongoing skills verifications for EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic clinicians.
• Recruit, train, calibrate, and support Field Training Officers to ensure consistent evaluation.
• Perform ride-alongs and field observations with coaching and structured feedback.
• Develop remediation and improvement plans for clinicians not meeting competency standards.
• Maintain training, evaluation, and credentialing records in LMS and documentation systems.
• Collaborate with Education Specialist to keep content current with protocols and QA/QI findings.
• Support onboarding logistics, including equipment familiarization and EHR documentation training.
• Analyze training outcomes and time-to-release metrics to improve programs.
