Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LPN license.
• Two years previous experience in a clinical setting.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of orientation.
• Completion of an approved pharmacology course.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
• Ability to collect data, interpret findings, set priorities and carry out plan.
• Ability to read, calculate and prepare medications, and monitor reactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under physician direction in a warm and friendly manner.
• Accurately take and record measurements or readings.
• Administer prescribed medications.
• Coordinate admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Provide leadership while collaborating with other care givers on the unit and within the health system.
