Qualifications

Position Overview

The LPN administers skilled direct and indirect patient care to an assigned group of patients according to the patient’s plan of care under the direction of the physician or advanced practice provider. The role requires adherence to universal precautions and compliance with infection control policies. The incumbent carries out job requirements as delegated by and under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, or registered nurse.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
  • May work in an environment with exposure to potentially dangerous/infectious materials and situations requiring extensive safety precautions, including PPE.
  • Occasional overtime may be required and/or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, push, pull, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds to waist level.
