Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of an RN in a skilled nursing setting. You will evaluate residents, monitor conditions, document changes, and administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

The role requires graduation from an approved LPN program and an active (or pending) LPN license, with current BLS/CPR as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if required by state when working in a skilled nursing center or assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient and effective nursing care under the direction of an RN.
• Evaluate patients/residents, collect data, observe condition, and report changes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor care provided by unlicensed staff.
