Job summary

University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa seeks a Prelicensure Placement Manager to plan, organize, and manage clinical placements, scheduling, rosters, student logistics, and onboarding for the undergraduate nursing program. You will support placement processes and maintain positive relationships with clinical partners to enable student progression through clinical, lab, and simulation experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and six years of related experience, including two years in managing personnel.
• Or Master's degree in education or related field with four years of academic experience, including two years in managing personnel.
• Degree Equivalency Clause allows four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience in an academic health sciences environment and familiarity with LMS and compliance platforms are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign students to clinical placements following site approvals and capacity.
• Develop semester clinical schedules and coordinate with clinical partners.
• Create and disseminate student schedules for clinical skills, labs, simulations, and rotations.
• Collaborate with undergraduate leadership, faculty, and partners to align schedules and capacity.
• Maintain accurate rosters for undergraduate students in clinical experiences.
• Coordinate schedule and roster updates throughout the semester.
• Process student requests for schedule changes per College of Nursing policies.
