Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Pearisburg, VA is seeking a Physical Therapist (CGCH) for a full-time day shift. The PT will interpret referrals, assess patients, and design individualized treatment plans across age groups, in accordance with regulatory standards.

The role includes supervising PTAs, coordinating care with the healthcare team, documenting in medical records, and contributing to performance improvement and education initiatives. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved Physical Therapy school.
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or Master’s/Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed to practice in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on physician referrals and age-appropriate assessment.
• Coordinate patient care with therapists, leaders, physicians, and other staff.
• Document in the medical record and complete related forms per policy.
• Supervise PTAs and collaborate with therapy staff and students.
• Participate in in-services, quality improvement, and program development.
• Deliver excellent customer service and compassionate patient care.
